The head of the emu is the Coalsack nebula set under (or in this case over) the Crux (Southern Cross). It was a pretty full moon which washes out the stars, but you can see the galactic centre of the Milky Way running up the middle of the lens flare. Technically, you wouldnt say this was a great photo because of the
