The pigskin leather is ink marked as size 59 (59cm head size) with a correct draw string

There appears to be some mildew markings along the left side

The factory stamps under the flare are EB II 1942 (Eveson Bros of Worcester)

US FS #84 This helmet appears to haveUS FS #84 The shell is an original WWII McCord Radiator with a front seam, stainless steel band and swivel bales. The heat stamp is 1017A. The outer retains 75 80% of its original factory paint and texture. The inner was a bit daggy; it was stripped to bare metal, primed and painted in olive drab mainly to protect the cover and liner. There is no rust. A new OD3 chinstrap set has been fitted. The liner is an original WW2 high pressure type
