I took advantage of this direct light on Union Station and other buildings

In the past five years I have explored many places around Denver and the western United States as part of this project

Sunset from the Colorado State Capitol Size:24"x36" leaving me better prepared asAs I was walking past the State Capitol I decided to stop and capture an image of the sunset. I have used this perspective in the past couple of years to capture the change of seasons as well as the morning light against the Rocky Mountains. With the sun setting to the southeast this time of year it allowed a little of a gradient of the darkening evening skies framed by the architecture of the building itself.
