Each year as November approaches I look forward to the project

The cathedral itself has been in existence since prior to the purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867

I found a spot along near the sculpture and worked to compose my image to bring in parts of the city and also show the motion of the water with a little longer exposure giving this image

This image was taken around 8pm with a couple of hours of sunlight still remaining on this day

With the large change in tides which takes place every six hours this is not too uncommon as the weather starts to get cooler as was the case when I took this in November one year

Building in San Francisco Size:18"x24" Each year as November approachesWhile in San Francisco I was walking towards the Ferry Terminal to catch a boat to Alameda when I noticed the 101 California building in the late afternoon light. With the sun almost set I made my way to the building and with a long lens looked up to capture the lines and patterns with some remaining sunlight.
