These helmets were used from the 1880s

Later they fought in Greece

Interwar US Army Enlisted Man’s Visor Cap Headgear Large WW1 or laterA rare inter war US Army enlisted mans khaki woollen visor cap. Made from a heavy wool cotton khaki fabric. Complete with chinstrap and chinstrap brass buttons. The headband is worn and loose from the cap but will stay in place. In good condition for its age and retains a nice shape small worn patch on the top rim amd 2 moth pinprick holes under the rim Size approx 56 57
