The charm was originally a vintage pin (circa 1950) transformed with the addition of a 14k gold jump ring bail

but it acid tests for 14k gold

The inside of the band is marked 18ct

This 14k gold charm was converted from an antique stick pin (circa 1900) by removing the stem and adding a jump ring bail
