The cross has brass terminals and small fixing pins typical of period French workshop manufacture. The centre is decorated with a pierced Sacred Heart motif, and above the corpus is an applied brass INRI scroll and radiant sunburst. The corpus itself is well modelled with pronounced detailing to the anatomy
