Recorded in just a week with minimal overdubbing, the album has a raw, live feel with empty space playing a big part. The sleazy pseudo ballads "Down in the Mornin' Sun" and "Angie" (featuring guest vocalists from Circle Pit and Blank Realm) add some variety, but the majority of the album is filled with
