When spring arrived the willow trees’ leaves and beautiful pink blossoms grew back again

This large scale painting was super fun to paint

I took a lot of pictures along this hike and made three paintings from them

I arranged them in a green glass with some Pink Muhly grasses and snapped some reference photos while the sun was hot and shadows were strong

and using lots of fun colors to create the forest’s depth

There are a lot of Saguaro Cacti along this path. While hiking it, I took a bunch of photos and chose three to make paintings from. Occasionally, I'll come across a lone coyote walking these trails and my dog will go berserk. So, I'll slowly walk away when I see one and make loud noises, waving my arms to scare them away. Usually they just look at me like I'm some crazy lady not
