The dry stone technique appears rugged, yet it requires a precise understanding of balance. To give the Cullen floor lamp this sense of organic tension, some of the 'stones' are intentionally placed off center. The elongated totemic profile of the sconce is framed by a metal circular backplate, adding an element of
