an October snow storm brought close to a foot of snow to Denver

As I walked on the new walkway towards the Whale Sculpture in Juneau

With Reykjavik also being so far north the position of the sun changes drastically over the course of the year as well which also provides differing directions of shadows from the light

On this visit to City Park I went to a familiar spot and zoomed into the city a little to capture the fresh grass of spring at the park on this spring day in Denver

With the wildfires in Colorado (most of which are either at or nearing 100% containment) there are just a fraction of the normal fireworks display around Denver for the 4th of July

Glacier National Park in the Summer Size:20"x30" an October snow storm broughtThis was also taken a few summers ago in Glacier National Park and not far from where I saw the baby mountain goat. Looking to the east on the Hidden Lake trail in mid July there were still patches of snow around Logan Pass and the trail took us over some of those patches as well. Now that fall is here the park will start to close down at the higher elevations as the snow will soon start to fly in northern Montana.
