The title is a follow up to the 2005 Nintendo DS title Kirby: Canvas Curse and sees Kirby turned into a ball. As Kirby is only able to roll it's up to the player to use the Wii U's touch screen to draw rainbow lines for Kirby to roll on and help him navigate through the game's levels.
