I haven’t had it undone so I don’t know how tightly the top is on it but I am guessing it is probably very tight on there

bestowing upon it an authenticity and character that enchants the beholder

It remains a mystery whether this artistic effect was a deliberate choice or a whimsical result of age

not massively old but still vintage
