The soft light provided by the clouds helped when I came across this bulb sign sitting on a wooden table in the yard

This was the case this evening when I hiked up Green Mountain in Lakewood to get a shot of Denver and the rising full moon in November 2009

I watched as some of the evening aircraft landed

As the game let out after a win against Cleveland dusk moved in leading to this image along the interstate

Independence Eve in Denver Size:20"x30" California while in town forWith the wildfires in Colorado (most of which are either at or nearing 100% containment) there are just a fraction of the normal fireworks display around Denver for the 4th of July. One which took place last evening was at Civic Center Park in Denver. Thousands of people showed up for the free concert by the Colorado Symphony and fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.
