c1900 French Faience Porcelain Low Tazza/Compote wavy band and displays a wide brightPresented is a fine French faience reticulated low tazza. This piece dates to around the turn of the century. The edge of the dish is beautifully hand gilded and decorated with iron red designs. The center depicts a colorful scene of men around a table outside, reading or going over papers of some kind. The dish is in good overall condition. As the photo points out, there has been a repair and repaint to one edge, with a crack extending into the body.
