These spoons are made in the elegant Louis XIV pattern, which began production in 1870. The spoons are a good large size, suitable for a variety of serving purposes, although they were originally considered soup spoons. Each spoon is monogrammed C in Gothic script on the back of the handle. This set is in great condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp.
