These pieces are made in the stylish Urbino pattern, designed by German artist Trude Petri circa 1931. This pattern, featuring timelessly simple round forms rendered in striking white, is both beautiful and practical, very much in the Bauhaus spirit of the time. Petri's Urbino service won awards at both the Milan Triennial art and design
