The pen is made from Teak salvaged from the ship. When she was broken, a number of items were made with the salvaged teak. This pen is made from teak taken from a damaged desk set, which was made at the time. HMS Warspite is a Queen Elizabeth class battleship. She was laid down in 1912 and commissioned in 1915. She gained many battle honours, earning 15 of the 25 awarded
