The vineyard itself is situated between the Premier Crus of Les Vergelesses in Savigny and Les Vergelesses in Pernand Vergelesses, hence the name 'Ile', or island. This 2021 is sweetly fruited, rich in flavour with smooth ripe tannins. It is subtle and elegant but never lacking in depth of flavour it is good to go now but will hold in bottle for a further 12 to 15
