Garden Colour:Black Wentworth FallsOvergrown pathways wind through what were once carefully planned garden beds at the Queen Victoria Sanitorium. The grounds sit on Kings Tableland at roughly 867 metres elevation, remote bushland pressing in on all sides. Opened in 1903 as a tuberculosis sanatorium designed by architect George Sydney Jones, the complex operated for 96 years before closing in May 1999. Part of the Queen Victoria Sanitorium series.
