The Eaux de vie was first aged for 18 months in new oak barrels. These were then toasted slightly to further allow for the aromas to be infused to the liquid within. Finally, the Eaux de vie was moved to ancient barrels to complete the aging process. \n \nEach step was overseen by the BNIC.
