The S 3 is equipped with JCraft Crossroads 60's Alnico Pickup Set for a vintage tone. It is made with Poplar body paired with maple neck and Laurel fretboard a similar tonewood to rosewood, only with a darker shade. Poplar has been used on many big brand guitars and has been a great alternative to Alder. For 2022, the relic design on the Antique models have been improved.
