1700s SCANDINAVIAN SILVER LADLE with CARVED WOOD HANDLE enameled rutilated tourmalated quartzPresented is a very nice old silver ladle made in the 1700s or early 1800s. The piece has a double spout, and nice repousse swags in the oval bowl. There is a very old pinprick monogram engraved on the underside of the bowl with the initials APB. There is a later, late 1700s or 1800s monogram on one of the spouts with the initials AMK. The bowl is probably Scandinavian but may be colonial American, we are not sure.
