A Large Antique French Oak Bookcase, c.1880 Tallboy Framed in English walnut withOur Stock # LFA 1215 This is an antique French breakfront bookcase dating to c. 1880. At 8ft tall and 9ft wide this is a very substantial piece of furniture in superb condition. The French oak displays warm honey hues and the deep wax finish shows good patina. Generous of stock with pegged joints the piece is modestly decorated with field panels and carved detail to the rounded corners. Raised on a moulded plinth the lower four cupboards feature
