I had enormous fun designing this Rhode Island style sampler inspired by the Mayflower and the year the Pilgrims landed in America. The sampler features Pilgrims as well as Wampanoag (I even researched their traditional dress back then, including how their feathers were worn in their hair), as well as floral motifs derived from the oldest known sampler in America,
