the woman who made this was a seamstress who worked from her house and her husband was a traveling salesman

Very usable and useful

Egyptian cigarettes became very fashionable as a luxury cigarette in the late 1800s and early 1900s

The top is rather open so it would either need to be pinned together or would have to have an undershirt

RA.35 Mortar Sight women's The front paper has someOriginal RA. 35 sight for the 8cm Gr. W. 34. The sight and box have been over painted postwar. I have had good luck in the past stripping these with acetone to get back to original paint. The sight itself is in pretty good condition. The box is a little rough and dented with a small hole. The leather strap is postwar.
