Kaftan – Kamari 'Northward' 45&50cm Artwork StorySeascapes, mountains, and the warmth of the north. Kamari is the Awabakal word for Northward, a direction that carries its own light. This artwork depicts the seascapes, mountains, and blue skies of the northern horizon, reflecting the warm and sunny weather found to our north. The blues woven through the design represent the East Coast of Australia and the many waterways running into the ocean, a landscape of warmth, movement, and endless sky. Cut in
