L940 18th Century 5” high x 618th century Italian hand carved angel wing mounted on a chalcopyrite and adorned with kyanite. The hand carved angel wing was once part of a heavenly, angelic depiction in a historic church in Tuscany. The paint and gilding is original and the chalcopyrite and kyanite compliment the multicolor angel wing. Together, the elements look as though the piece evolved together over time.
