Strong and wearable with the care and love it deserves to be shown - this is one of the best 1920s pieces I have ever seen and I would not be surprised to learn that it was a couture piece form one of the Paris houses at the time - it is of that high quality and the fabric would have been customs designed and made

This particular dress is absolutely fabulous. It has the added bonus of having similar examples currently residing in museum archives. A red version is held at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and a second, similar version in cream was displayed in Bath for the "Great Names in Fashion" exhibit.
