It was made under the cradle direction of Yves Saint Laurent. The collection was based on the work done for the Couture collection for Fall 1976 title 'Opera Ballet Russes'. That collection marked a turning point for Yves as a couturier and designer. Several versions of this look, along with fringe dresses, walked the ready to wear runway that season. Fringing was integral to this collection. We found
