Made of a fine light challis that holds the shape and color beautifully but is not heavy or bulky at all

Lining the top layer is an inner layer of black silk chiffon so that it is wearable and not sheer

This in itself is unusual and a clue to who designed it without even seeing the inner label

Plus it is just amazing regardless of its provenance and is definitely a dress that stands on its own merit
